Tejidos (Social Fabric) is a powerful play devised by a group of 13 Mexican women brought together by the need to speak up.

The play portrays daily situations they encounter and is a reflection of power, freedom and what it means to be a woman in a patriarchal society.

Directed by Marina Pallares-Elias, this piece is the result of a collaboration between Carpa (Colectivo Artes de Participación) and Acting Now, made possible with funding from Arts Council England.

Please read this article (in Spanish) for more information about the play.
