Award from the Cambridge Children’s Charity Week Fund

We received an award to help us to continue our Change Makers project in primary and secondary schools. This is a project in which we run participatory theatre projects as a model for positive change in schools. By using theatre games and activities, we encourage participants to articulate their own experiences, go beyond their limits and understand life from different perspectives. We talk about bullying,

sexual health, new technologies, and legal/illegal substance abuse.

To receive this award, we participated in an evening event in Cambridge where we outlined the work we do to support children and young people in the city to an audience comprising those who had raised money for Cambridge Children’s Week, as well as met other award recipients.

Thank you so much to Cambridge Children’s Charity Week Fund and Cambridge Community Foundation for helping us to continue working on our projects.
